We started the boat chandlery in 1980. The boat yard was established in 1992, and at the beginning all of our customers' boats were fishing boats. Later on many types of boats have come to let us have an opportunity to serve them. Yes, you can. Please find more information in the following:
Clearance at Satun
There are 3 offices that you need to visit for check-in/out. They are Immigration, Harbor Master and Customs offices, located around the Tammalang Ferry Jetty. To check-in/out you will need to present your passport (including those of the crews and passengers), boat registration, and the port clearance from the last port, both the original and the photocopies.
The following fees are for checking-in/out with your boat at the Tammalang facility.
During the office hour, there will be no fee applied for checking-in at custom and harbor master, and immigration office. For checking out the office of harbor master will charge 200 Baht for releasing the boat, and another 200 Baht at the custom office for the same activity. There is no fee associated with checking out at the immigration office.
As for check-in/out on the weekend or Thai holiday, all the above offices may charge up to 400 Baht per office visit.
For checking in/out without your vessel, the above offices will have 270 Baht charge for out-of-area inspection per visit.
All fees that have been stated above come with issued receipts. The best time to check in/out at all the above offices is around 9:30-11:00 and 14:00-15:30.
Yachts must check-in/out with the harbour master, customs and immigration. Any vessel caught in violation of clearance will be faced with a fine and possible jail time. Yachts which take over 5 days to make the passage from Langkawi to Satun may have some difficulties with all the above offices.
