PSS has an on-site, full-service machine shop capable of sand blasting, boring, drilling, broaching, turning, milling, threading (US and Metric), and designing any of your custom machine needs. We machine aluminum, bronze, brass, stainless steel, and steel.
We also offer prop change-outs for prop tune-ups to check track and pitch, optical alignment checks of prop shaft bearings to reduction gear, and shaft straightness evaluations for vibration analysis.
PSS employs a full range of metal craftsmen with experience in the marine trades. Our shop specializes in all types of welding such as TIG, stick and automatic. We fabricate such items as antenna brackets, flag pole bases, deck sockets, railings, stanchions, and covers made out of stainless steel (polished to a mirror finish). On site cranes provide the ability to move and manipulate massive plates and structures.
PSS’s carpentry produces the high quality woodwork on every new build and refit. All carpenters and craftsmen are versed in the wide range of materials, methods and technologies, be it any wood; iron wood, teak wood, or other wood.
Currently for the yacht service, the Shipyard provides bottom preparation and anti-fouling to race-ready levels by our staff. Our fiberglass specialists are expert in fiberglass repairs when required. For the topside job, we have an outside contractor who is specialized on high quality paint job on call. Interior vanished works on the cabinetry and deck can be arranged as well. An airless spray paint machine is also available.
Formerly known as stock room, we carry many sizes of iron wood on site for immediate uses, teak wood can be ordered in advance before your haul out. Marine shop supplies many brands of filler, caulking material, primer, antifouling, Sikaflex and etc. If you can not find the product you want from the yard shop, we also have another big hardware store in town (13 km away) to meet you need. Ultimately if you still unable to find the right part that you need, we will try our best to locate the supplier and order it for you. Galvanized of anchor, chain and any steel part can be arranged as well.
Our small coffee shop was a hang out place for many of our customers. Whenever you stop by you will meet friendly people there. At the shop you will find many items to meet your need for daily use. We offer many snacks, drinks, and personal hygiene items.
Commercial customers include: LFS(Langawi Ferry Service), Satun travel and ferry services, Southern Ferry Service and many fishery companies.
Fiber glass work can be done start from minor skin repair until building a new transom or additional pontoons to stabilize the boat.
PSS has on site STL fabrication equipments that can perform most of the stainless steel works from bending, welding, polishing for stainless in both
304 or 316 grade.
PSS has removable tents (size 8m. x 18m.) for renting as an optional service.
A Permanent Shed for super yacht (size 13m. x 40m.) is available for customers who need a controlled environment for boat building,
Repairing or storage. 20-foot cargo containers for storage is also available for renting.
In August 2009, PSS was granted by Thai Royal Customs Department to operate a duty free bonded warehouse.
Materials which are imported for boat repair or boat building projects will be free of import tax. In addition to that PSS has extended its services to a custom brokerage. .
We have a licensed customs broker service ready to serve all customer needs, including boat registering.
